Happiness Has No Face

In response to The Daily Post's writing prompt: "Happy Happy Joy Joy."

Happiness doesn't have a face. It has no color. It has no personality. Happiness is whatever each person wants it to be. It is a representation of whatever makes each individual person happy so happiness has no face.

Happiness to me looks like freedom. Happiness to me looks like the smiles of people who have endured and conquered the worst circumstances. Happiness to me looks like the glow  on a person's face when they look at the person they love, their family or the people they love and care about most.

Happiness has no particular appearance. Happiness looks like whatever each person wants it to look like.
